I just ran it to double check and had no problem using ultimate as the root password. Did you download the torrent from our site? It is case sensitive. Make sure the caps lock is not on when you boot the VM. Anyone else having this issue? |

| Ok guys...I am going to assume that you are trying to login to the system with the username "root" at the login screen because I have checked and double checked the password which we set on the root account and it is correct. Please see this forum post about working with Ubuntu using Root privileges:

In a nutshell login with the username "changeme" and "ultimate" as the password and then follow these instructions:
*When prompted for the admin password use "ultimate"
HowTo: First Go to the start menu and go to system-->Administration-->User and Groups
There search for the user "root". U will find it. After choosing root, click on "properties" and change the password to something u want. |
