| password tuxdistro is not working for root user. Even do, how we can use sudo if we don't get inside the system. Do you have a valid root password for this vm image? |

| I am lost as to how such a great question can go SO unanswered. I have read the entire thread on this and I too am lost.
I perform the sudo command as defined in the thread and it asks me for the sudo password for the user that I am logged in as. When I provide my login password, the response says "gsp123 is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported." When I provide the "tuxdistro" password as the admin has so clearly explained, the response is " Sorry, try again."
So, SMedroc I cannot help you unless being in your boat helps cause that is where I am; same boat!
